The Ancient Vine Valley, also known as the King Vine and commonly named the Stream Water Gully, is a natural ecological scenic zone.
When entering the Ancient Vine Valley, tourists must cross a river, with water coming from the Shuitao Gully and the Ancient Vine Valley. On the river is an arched bridge made of pine wood, with several piers made of fairly thick pine wood, which is in harmony with the nature. But when climbing a flight of steps, we had different feelings; because we couldn¡¯t tell which timber was higher, which was shorter, which was on the step and which under the step, plus rapids gurgling on under the bridge. It made me feel ¡°faint¡±, but it was stimulating.
On the cliffs that flank the King Vine Valley are lushly growing shrubs, arbors and vine-type plants. We climbed in great difficulty among shrubs and arbors. When lowering our heads, we found a small stream murmuring in the valley. Because of a large drop in elevation, a group of cascades are formed. By the stream lies a path leading to the mountaintop. On both sides of the mountain path are tall shrubberies, flowers and some traditional herbal medicines, such as the tuber of multiflower knotweed.
