Wulongchan (Five Dragons¡¯ Traces)

2008-11-14

Wulongchan (Five Dragons¡¯ Traces) was named after the five gullies left by the King of Immateriality when he flew into the sky. The main tourist attractions include the Yunqu (Cloud Thoroughfare) Pavilion, Tongtianyunqu (Cloud Thoroughfare Leading to Heaven), Lingyin Terrace of the King of Immateriality, Five-dragon Pine, Shangfang Academy and Zhengguo Temple.
The Tongtianyunqu is a ¡°Ö®¡±-shaped plank road built along the face of a cliff, like a heavenly ladder leading to the sky. The plank road is about one m wide and over 300 m long, with over 440 steps. It is like a dragon on auspicious clouds, imposing and magnificent.
