Jiegong Hill Scenic Spot

2008-11-14

Jiegong Hill is the place where Jiezi was secluded, burned and later worshipped. Main scenic spots include Yuanhao Slope, Mianshan Stele Forest, Immortal Stone Forest, Hujie Stone, Mother and Son Stone, Lotus-Leaf Spring, White Crow Mountain, Turtle Mountain, Fire-Preventing Cave, Jiegong Hill, Cypress Hill and Jiegong Tomb.
Surrounded by mountains, Jiegong Hill has a gorge in front, rivers in back, springs on the left and valleys on the right. It is dotted with green pine trees and mountain flowers. Here you can view a vast sea of clouds and mist, as well as splendid temples below. Jiegong Hill scenes include pouring rain at the foot of the mountain, sunshine illuminating the mountainside or clouds and mist wreathing the mountain peak, depending on the weather.
